The work happens in the field, in the courts and in public comment periods, and the website is where supporters, reporters and partners go to follow it. It has to make the case quickly, show what is happening now, and keep years of press releases, reports and field updates where people can find them. It also has to turn concern into support: a donation, a sign-up, a comment submitted.
What we build
A site built for phones first that puts current campaigns and news up front, an archive that stays organized as it grows, and a donation page that feels like part of the site. Staff can post updates themselves without calling anyone. When the team is spread out, we can take on the IT behind it too.
For Western Watersheds Project, which protects public lands and wildlife across the American West, we rebuilt the website from the ground up, wrote new content where it was needed, carried years of press releases, reports and field updates across, set up a new donation platform, and took on the IT administration for their distributed team.
